Bulgaria celebrates EU Researchers’ Night

Six cities across Bulgaria have participated in the tenth anniversary of European Researchers’ Night.

Events were hosted at the National Gallery Square 500 in the capital Sofia. Events also took place in Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse and Stara Zagora, according to newspaper Dnevnik.

Activities involved the participation of several universities, including New Bulgarian University, Plovdiv University, Trakia University and Ruse University. Plovdiv Medical University, Varna Medical University as well as the Centre for Innovations of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences were also involved.

The activities were organised by the British Council and funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions under Horizon 2020. Events took place in 250 cities in 24 different countries around Europe as part of European Researchers’ Night on Friday 25 September.
