Details announced on MCA funding

The Marie Curie Actions (MCAs) will award grants to a total of 25,000 researchers under Horizon 2020.

The MCAs are set to be renamed the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in recognition of the Nobel-prize winning Polish physicist. The objective, which sits under the Excellent Science pillar of the next research and innovation framework programme, is estimated to receive a budget of €5.6bn. 60,000 researchers comprising 130 different nationalities have received support and training since 1996.
