Horizon 2020 event for Australian researchers

An event to provide Australian researchers with a better understanding of the structure, objectives, instruments and work programmes of Horizon 2020 has been organised for 12 March 2014. The workshop will also cover how Australian researchers can participate in the framework programme.

The event will take place at RMIT University’s city campus in Melbourne. It will include presentations, case studies and remarks from HE Sem Fabrizi, ambassador and head of delegation of the EU to Australia and New Zealand and Dr Calum Drummond, deputy vice-chancellor and vice-president of RMIT University.

Also speaking are Marisa Atienza Morales, from DG Research and Innovation in the European Commission; Cameron Slatyer of the Australian Department of Industry; John Zic of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation; and John Tuckwell, senior adviser of the delegation of the EU to Australia.
