Minsk to host Horizon 2020 training workshops

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere are preparing to hold key information days on the EU’s new research and information framework programme.

The events will be held in the capital Minsk and will include detailed information on Horizon 2020 and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. These workshops are being organised by the SO ‘BelISA’ and more information can be found here. The info day will take place over two days on 24-25 February 2014.

In Ukraine, an info day on the role of ICT in the new framework programme will take place on 23 May 2014. Participants are expected to gain a better understanding of the role of ICT, exchange experience of participation of EaP countries in FP7 and present ICT research priorities in Eastern Partnership countries. Both Belarus and Ukraine participated in FP7.
