Second Switzerland-Sweden call for R&D projects

As part of the Swiss-Swedish Innovation Initiative, the two countries have announced the second bilateral ‘Switzerland-Sweden Call for R&D Project Outlines’ within the EUREKA and EUROSTARS programmes.

The EUREKA framework is the leading European platform for industry-led, applied, close-to-market research. The aim of the call is to facilitate funding of market orientated Swiss-Swedish R&D projects and the creation of research consortiums consisting of Swiss-Swedish SMEs, large industry, academia, and research institutes

This second bilateral call is open for all topics, but focuses on the development of innovative products and services within innovative manufacturing and software and life-sciences, with a focus on digital health solutions.

In support of the call, special information, matchmaking and workshop events are being arranged during autumn 2013 and spring 2014. Calls are managed by the EUREKA offices at the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems, and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation, in line with the EUREKA initiative.
