Dublin to host two innovation conferences

It has been announced that Dublin will host the XXV ISPIM Innovation Conference later this year. The event is in addition to the second Open Innovation 2.0 (OI2.0) Conference, also due to take place in June.

Dublin will first host the XXV ISPIM Innovation Conference from 8 June to 11 June, bringing together around 500 innovation experts from 50 countries under the focus of ‘Innovation for Sustainable Economy and Society’.

On the evening of 11 June, the awards ceremony for the second Innovation Luminary Awards will take place at Dublin City Hall. The ceremony take places on the evening prior to the Open Innovation 2.0 Conference at the Dublin Convention Centre. Jointly organised by the European Commission (the Open Innovation Strategy and Policy Group), Dublin City Council and Intel Labs Europe, the one-day conference will be devoted to inspiring sessions and interaction on OI2.0 business models and ecosystems.

The OI2.0 will also consider the contributions of Horizon 2020 to innovation, as well as topics of Smart Cities/Smart Citizens, and the Internet of Everything, beyond the Internet of Things. Another important focus will be how to foster the quadruple innovation helix under the OI2.0 paradigm.
