Horizon 2020 backs oral health and wellbeing data analysis

A UK health informatics company has secured funding from Horizon 2020 to help enhance oral health and wellbeing.

Aridhia, based in Edinburgh, UK, will use its science data analysis platform known as AnalytiXagility in the €6m Horizon 2020 project.

In comments carried by The Herald Scotland, Chris Roche, chief executive of Aridhia, said: “We are honoured to have been successful in our bid for Horizon 2020 project funding and, even more so, to be collaborating with such a strong group of partners over the next four years to develop an evidence-based, preventative oral healthcare model.”

The venture comprises ten partners drawn from six EU member states, from which the raw data will be gathered, and includes the academic, industrial and healthcare participants. The data will be analysed using Aridhia’s platform.
